Nice machine- saw a red jobber today.... but the usually thorny issue for too many rises up here :

is a 2-spd auto/283 "worthy" of 'SS' badges ?

The SS badge never tells the whole story as the details vary from model to model, and year to year.

That said, the 283 was a great little V8!
