Is that report from a different GM fansite correct? That production of the 8) Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook, and GMC Acadia starts simultaneously in October?

Posted

Unless plans have recently changed, the Outlook and Acadia are set to begin production in October, with the Enclave following later on.

The person who wrote the information seems to work at a GMC (?) dealer, and provided brief information about Aura engines, the G6 convertible, the new GMC Sierra, and the three Lambdas.

I don't think so...

He says the Aura is getting the 3.9? A GM press release dated the 11th of April says it's getting the 3.6.

Also:

The Camaro and new GTO may be built at the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant along side the Vette and XLR, GM will either expand the plant or are considering building a new plant.

:lol2:

So they're going to build a new plant for the Camaro and GTO when they have EXCESS capacity at many plants?

Northstar: Thank you for providing a reality check (both here and on that other site) to the poster's statements. Several other people there are questioning his information, too, but he says that it came from a PowerPoint presentation given to "a V.P. at a manager sales meeting this last Mon, then to us."
