Dealership less than 5 miles from my house has a sweet looking white Typhoon. Wish GM would bring back a nice two door AWD Performance SUV like that. They mgr at the local Dan Fast Muffler just picked himself up a Black GMC Syclone. Very sweet also. :)

Where's the dealer at? ;)

I had forgotten about this since posting on the other GM board yesterday...but the 2012 TL. Our first one rolled off the truck yesterday, black/black FWD Tech. Small changes but very different overall "aura" in person vs. the '09-11.

First when it rolled off the truck:

Then today when it moved, next to an identically equipped 2011 FWD Tech in the same colors...great comparo time:

Good way to put it, vonVee, and I totally agree. The 2012 is MUCH improved. Looks like a normal Acura again.

Saw a strange truck thingy today...had a Chevy Topkick front end (windshield, nose) on a Chevy Step Van style body, with the sliding doors, etc. Never seen one like that.

Saw a very clean dark gold w/ beige vinyl top early '70s Firebird Esprit 350.

Saw a badly painted two tone (dark red/silver) '68 Caddy Sedan de Ville w/ 'DUB' badges but normal wheels and tires. Strange.

Saw a well worn '10 Camaro SS--black, with a lot of scratches, dings, and dents down the left side..

Yet another Fiesta. Magenta hatch this time. This makes the fourth focus this week, in the same town.

There are 6 or 8 Fiestas in a row at the local Ford store...I think half are magenta, half are that bright green...2/3s hatches.

These are all cars that have owners, not on a dealer lot.

I've seen a few Fiestas on the road, and a few in parking lots..not many yet. Haven't seen any '12 Focuses out and about..didn't realize it was on sale yet.

LOL, it was a beautiful day for a drive in the convertible.

I didn't have my camera handy, but in a quick moment, a white pearl Cadillac 2005-ish DeVille 4 door convertible blew by in the opposite direction. I had hardly recovered when a few cars later, a red Ferrari F430 Spider blew by.

Coming back from lunch today to work, I was sandwiched between a '72 Cutlass coupe in Burnt Orange with tin top, Cragar wheels and loud pipes in front, and a first-gen Volare sedan in metallic beige behind. Both in good shape.

Then later, after woik, I saw a late-model Aspen coupe in white with a black, high-rise hood scoop and a menacing, delicious engine sound.

Perfect for St. Patty's day, or the day after, was a very clean triple dark green (paint, padded top, interior) mid '90s Caddy Fleetwood Brougham...sweet. Also drove by a business w/ a fleet of 3 pristine two-tone blue Chevy work trucks w/ Knapheide-style utiliy beds. What caught my eye were they were all 71-72 vintage pickups!

I know they made a Jade Gray and a darker Green for the Fleetwood but I am unaware of a green factory interior, to my knowledge there were only six colors (Black, Blue, Gray, Neutral, Red, Burgundy). Perhaps Derek has some light to shed on this.

Hmmm...maybe it was gray..just saw it quickly in traffic beside me, but what I saw of the interior (dashpad, seat) looked green..cloth I think.

Depending on the light, the light gray (especially with a green exterior) can seem to have a green hue. No green, otherwise.

That's probably what it was..it was partially overcast late afternoon and I had my Ray Bans on...

Driving home on Route 1 South in Lawrenceville was next to an Infiniti EX35... definitely not a fan of this vehicle, and it's just as bad as the 2011 Infiniti QX56.

Driving home on southbound Route 206 outside of Columbus, NJ Friday after getting the G6's new tires installed passed by a '41-'46/'47 Chevrolet Suburban Carry-All on the side of the road (not marked for sale) near the NADE car auction site. Stopped by Saturday morning on the way getting the Envoy's new tires installed for some pics:

Saw parked behind a bus on the otherside of the lot a '41-'46/'47 Chevrolet Panel truck:

Was very surprised to see both there, not usual for NJ.

First two '11 Chargers, one black, the other dark blue. Hot damn they're handsome cars.

Cool..haven't seen one yet. My sister had an '11 rental last week in Portland, liked it a lot (she had about 1/2 dozen '10 rentals last year in Chicago).

Saw an '11 Charger in traffic at lunch, first I've seen..very sharp..dark gray. Also saw a white Mini Countryman, first of those I've seen..

Followed a white '11 Charger in traffic, new. Seemed odd how that very cool back taillight looked so...plain and plasticky in daylight. It wasn't until we both went under an overpass and her lights kicked on, illuminating the LED surround that I went "ahh, that's it...".

On top of Gary Barbera's Chrysler in Philly today (didn't notice it until today...unless I'm just not observant):

Saw a '53 (I think) Studebaker ht coupe (dark red w/ white top) on the top of a car hauler today, looked very clean..

Saw a blue Nissan Leaf this morning, first I'd seen out on the street...and a black SSR.

I was at the airport last night, first time I'd been there in a month or so..noticed at least one taxi fleet seems to be moving from Crown Vics to HHRs en masse...saw at least a couple dozen yellow HHRs taxis. Lots of Prius taxis as well.

Saw a silver '11 Camaro convertible, top down, rolling down the street. Saw about 2 dozen convertibles in traffic, tops down on my 20 min walk at lunch..beautiful spring weather.

Two Buick drivers with an inflated sense of their vehicles' abilities.

First, a Buick Regal LS with all of the Regal scripts removed (but the LS badge remains), and "Police Interceptor" badges from the Crown Vic glued in place

Second, a Buick Roadmaster Estatewagon with a power bulge hood not unlike this:

tmuh-96_mustang_94-98_gt-41_hood_fiberglass.jpg

However, it was clearly a '92 and therefore not even LT-1 powered from the factory. There were no other outwards indicators of performance modifications, it even had the original wire spokes. It could have something under the hood... but I doubt it. The new hood was painted properly and done well though.

There is a lot of delusional people that modify their cars out there, I guess...years ago in Ohio I used to see a Chrysler 300M with a '69/70 Mustang Mach 1 hoodscoop glued to the hood, complete w/ 351 badges on it.

Circa '49-'51 Ford Fordor in maroon, coming at me like a bat out of hell, V8 wailing, nose-up as I test drove a customer's quivery Miata.

I saw a shiny black Cadillac DTS in traffic in Seville this week. US-spec car with Spanish plates, as the DTS was never officially imported to Europe.
