finally saw it - Yes, very good review

&

tho I haven't seen the American Top Gear, just judging from the British version I saw a few times a couple years ago...

if this is a serious audition tape as a performer, I wonder if having some "out-takes" (goofing-up, clowning around, and being silly with 'the crew') might be a worthwhile addition?

...I mean unless you're applying for a writing position OR if the performers are expected to create their own scripts?

It was more than a "handy-cam" (it's filmed in 1080i HD) but YouTube brings down the quality. For a YouTube video, I think the quality (which I had nothing to do with) is outstanding.

THIS is NOT an actual audition tape, but practice to get up to that level. And the best out-takes are already in there! My forte is in writing, not performing. I'm trying to get better...in this age of multimedia, you've got to have a toe in everything.
