I LOVE the Cadillac Database- a fantastic, likely unmatched site. I surf thru there a bunch, and the Eldorados are a frequent lingering point.

Ironically, there's a pic on there of a partial shot, and the caption asks if it's an Eldorado Brougham convertible. It isn't, but GM DID have an XP- program studying such a car.

At this point I don't know if it was intended to be a 4-dr convert, but it's interesting all the same.

I expected that you already knew of this site, Balthazar. But I couldn't let it slip away on the off-chamce that you didn't.

As for the car itself, I love the story more than the actual car.

Hey there, we noticed you're using an ad-blocker. We're a small site that is supported by ads or subscriptions. We rely on these to pay for server costs and vehicle reviews.  Please consider whitelisting us in your ad-blocker, or if you really like what you see, you can pick up one of our subscriptions for just $1.75 a month or $15 a year. It may not seem like a lot, but it goes a long way to help support real, honest content, that isn't generated by an AI bot.

See you out there.
