Does the rigid link between golf and Buick irritate just me? Or are there others out there who feel the same way?

This was posted a while back. Honestly, I don't understand Buick and golfing... I don't feel it draws people to Buick any more than if they didn't associate the two. So, they're associating a boring sport (in my opinion), with a car manufacturer people describe as boring and for the blue-haired crowd. Doesn't sound smart to me.

I also don't feel the 35 to 45 year old corporate type golfer is going to RUN to Buick because of ads.

He or she will still go for the import car ... unfortunately.

Read: Tiger Woods.

I doubt he drives one though.

Hmm, I think it actually looks better in golf cart proportions.

And which do you think is less believable, Tiger in a Buick or Coach K in a Chevy?
