I'm sure most of you know the Autotainment is opening up this spring in Vegas. There could be no better place for Cheers and Gears to have a get together.

Either way, I'm heading there this summer. Any one else?

Somehow I don't think C&G has the critical mass for a get together, given the snippets I've read on mere handfuls at best getting together for an auto show. I'd go to one, but I don't know about most of the others...as private as they are.

Its hard for C&G members to meet mainly because of the distances involved. We have large groups of members in the Northeast, Upper Midwest, and Southern California with smaller clusters in Texas, the Midatlantic states, Midwest, and South. I'm like the only active member in the entire state of Florida.

Of course, I'd love for a get-together just for fun. Naturally, anyone travelling by my neck-of-the-woods (Florida West Coast) is offered a nice welcome. I met RichW5's wife last summerish as she was in town visiting family.

I'm suprised no one is robbing a bank, or something of the sort, just to get to Autotainment. A chance to rail an STS-V, Vette, Hummer, Tahoe, etc., sounds like a dream come true.
