First review comes from Autoblog. They haven't assessed it in its entirety yet, but they seem pretty pleased with it and are looking at it objectively. Plus it's an in-depth analysis, not like the washover reviews that we usually see. Also he makes it a point to let you know he's not sitting in anyones financial pockets or siding with anyone in particular.

Next is a short article on how well the Lucerne and the Fusion have been selling for Buick and Ford and what successes they are.

Lastly is a typical review from Seattlepi.com but another check for a really positive review from another reviewer

Thank you Autoblog, for the Lucerne is truly a beautiful car inside and out.

Funny how the reports on any toyota talk about legendary quality and yet with Buick, who is actually the legendary quality winner, not a single mention.

Yahoo!

When I make reservations for a trip way in advance, I always keep checking and re-checking in case a better deal comes along in the interim.

So, that's what I did over the weekend. For my Miami/Fort Lauderdale/Atlanta trip in late May/early June, I was able to snag a Lucerne for 3 days at $ 6 more (total) than the Stratus I had originally reserved from Dollar.

Looks like I will be piloting a Lucerne around So. Fla. if one is in the premium fleet when I happen to show up at the counter. I hope so.

As Autoblog goes on with its review to days 3 and 4 I have to say their criticisms are pretty fair, I don't agree with everything but that's only because interior is something that considers a lot of personal taste. However I really don't see Autoblog using pre-determined stereotypes to define Buick like Motor Trend and Car and Driver. I think the criticisms Autoblog leaves are done appropriately.
