I'm going to turn this into a let's-mock-the-new-S thread by saying the illuminated speedo looks awful and the mouse contraption in the console is silly.

True, very bad. Still not as bad as the two-story Civic dash. WTF is up wiht that? :blink:

I actually like the new S-class, except for the delicate wheels in the above photo, and the "me-too" mouse controller. To me, a luxury car should be intuitive and effortless to get into and drive... but no, the Germans feel a need to send their customers into brain freeze just to turn on the heat.

Check it out, I found the S-Class' long-lost twin (as far as the front end goes, anyway):

Those two fronts look nothing alike, unless you have very blurred vision and the overall shape of the headlights appears "similar." Nothing else proportionally or visually appears similar.
