The bad : possibly the worst factory rims, ever. I see the front overhang is exactly the same; ummm- yay tradition ??

The good : I always liked the red accent in the GTI grilles. Very nice shots.

The question : why do the A-pillars extend past the windshield- can't be good for aero ??

I think it actually helps to channel the air in one direction over the roof.

Nice shots. Is that your new car?

I wish.

Water, too.

I will say, I've always liked these wheels, though a nice set of dished BBS wheels always look stellar on VW's.

That's hot. I much prefer the 2 door though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but for 2010 didn't they go to a 17 and 18 inch version of that rim for the GTI? I think I prefer the older 17 inch rim on this car. Love the heritage red accents and plaid interior, plus... that VW drive is just unparalleled in the class.

Both the MKV and MKVI were/are available with 17 inch ("Denver") and 18 inch ("Detroit") version of that wheel design. The 17 inch is finished in just silver, while the 18 inch is polished with the black (or gunmetal for the MKV known as "Hufeisen") accents.
