I love Italian food. Very high on my list. Growing up with Italian parents, I never went without expertly prepared pasta, chicken or veal dishes.

However, I never have a craving for Italian food. But I will go into Greek food withdrawals. So, I'd say Greek. The meats and poultry are succulent, the vegetables, rice and potatoes tend to be seasoned without being offensively strong. Not to mention the tzatziki, hummus or baklava. It's also pretty good for you. Look at those 100 year old ladies with orthopedic shoes and black dresses hanging out in Mykonos or Santorini...see?

For you Californians and Arizonans, there is the Daphne's chain. For less than $ 10, you can feast on some good stuff.

I'm so split between Italian, Polish, American, Chinese, and Mexican..

Well, pick one, Goddammit! J/K

I'd have to vote for Thai... I definitely get cravings for it.. the noodle dishes, the curries.. I can't go more than a few days without some. We have quite a few excellent Thai restaurants here in Denver.

I love Chinese also... moo shu pork, mongorian beef, potstickers, lettuce wraps.. a bottle of Tsingtao.

and Vietnamese--a bowl of Pho, a noodle bowl, some spring rolls...

I love Italian (Northern, Southern, Tuscan).. definitely like Greek and other Mediterranian food--Syrian, Persian, Morroccan... I'm happy with hummus and falafel, some lamb.

I love Indian also--chicken vindaloo, some dal, some naan, a pakora, a samosa...with a bottle of Flying Horse..

I had some really good Ethiopian a couple of weeks ago, and a Somalian restuarant opened recently, have to check it out.

I also get cravings for good 'ol Mercun vittles--- BBQ ribs, cheesesteaks, cheeseburgers, chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy... :)

I love to eat. I guess that is part of why I'm 6-foot, 220 lbs.. (my friends say I look like a small Tony Soprano with my hairline and shape).

Well, let's see. I'll put it all into a meal, if that's what makes you happy.

I'll take some pasta with sliced keilbasa cooked into it. On the side, I'll take some fried rice, a thick burrito, and some fries. And I'll never finish that meal, but it's ideal. :)

I love all kinds of food, as long as it is German. Heck, I once ate a 1 1/2 pounds of sour kraut just to win a free German music CD. If I loved german sausage any more people would start questioning my sexual orientation. That, and I can make a mean Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorte (Black Forest Cake.)

Minnesota Joe, are you fluent in German as well? I think it's a riot...and so are the Germans!

Whatever tastes good.

A really good cheeseburger is also a winner for me. Culvers is great. Cinderz is about the best you can get here. Or my own with a pack of onion soup with good hamburger from the local meat market.

How can I vote when there's no Slovakian on there? At least put Czechoslovakian, me and GT1750 will be sure to justify it wiht our two votes. :AH-HA_wink:

Outside of my own Eastern European foods that I grew up on I think Italians heve it fugured out. Rich, heavy, hearty breads, mouth watering pasta & herbs galore. God, I'm starving now and I just te two blueberry "Waf-fulls".

ITALIAN.

I just had it for dinner, too. My dad is Polish so we also have Polish food more than the normal person/family but the majority of the stuff I do not like.

I will eat almost anything, though. I love food.

Italian sausage. Not THAT kind, though.

Damn, doesn't ANYBODY like Greek food? Just my lonely vote thus far? Never have been a conformist.

Food I won't go near: Thai and Indian. Thai (even with NO stars for spiciness) sends me back to office with my head feeling like it's going to explode...it's not for me.
