And another interesting note about the GTO Ram Air 6 Concept's 6.4L engine is here:

http://www.gtoforum.com/archive/index.php/t-459.html

An amalgamation of GM powerplant parts, the 6.4-liter pushrod engine includes the LS7’s aluminum block set to debut on the next Corvette Z06, as well as the heads, crank and connecting rods from GM’s LS2 engine. The camshaft comes from the LS1, and the engine breathes through the aforementioned Ram Air intake and a custom stainless exhaust.

The LS7 was originally rumored (or was) a 6.4L with 3 valve per cylinder technology and a higher compression ratio I believe, but they ended up going with the 7L 2 vavle design.

The 6.2 could be the LS3, though I doubt it's the exact engine. That was shown in the Colorado Cruz with I believe 450HP.

Hmmm... interesting.

Long live the Chevrolet Pushrod V8. :spin:

Very likely.

The Woodward GTO had the z06's engine in it right down to the 6.0l stamping in plain view, GM reps even shunned at the mention it had been scooped.
