just as a fun/funny thought. why not? a 2.8L v8 twin turbo with ~300 hp and torque, maybe a tad more than that if it was not tuned for economy.

yes i realize the size of the engine would be kinda outlandish, ..using the 10% displacement difference, it'd take a ~3.1L CIB engine to make that power. lol

a little too micro-block for you dwight? haha

shoudl put out a tad more torque than the v6 of that size... rev better?

damn, this is seeming totally stupid.

oh well, thoughts?

how about a 4.2L v12? towards 500hp? what.. it's been done?.... awwwww

Someday I want a baby V8 of some sort... like a 1961 Buick Skylark w. 215 "bop" power.

Or a mid 1990s BMW 530i =)

You know that British Leland built the Stag from 2 I4's merged into a V8. So are you thinking of the 1.4L ecotec merged into a V8 the same way? Would that engine be called the NorthTec?

Same block as the 60* dohc 2.5 V6 but it was destroked to 1.8 liters.

The USA got this motor in the Mazda MX-3 GS. My ex had one with the 5-speed that I have mentioned on this forum many times before.
