http://jalopnik.com/5185281/study-women-more-attracted-to-men-in-expensive-cars

We have a rather motley attraction of rides here at C and G, and this thread is for fun more than anything. What kind of female (or male) should be attracted to people who post here based on their ride? What kind of woman would be attracted to a guy who squirrels away 1960's Pontiacs. or collects Miatas, or drives an old Intrepid, or a Cobalt, or whatever....

This is our chance to make fun of ourselves...

Who wants to fire the first shot?

My truck should attract someone short in stature, physically fit, clean cut, handsome, who wears jeans, t-shirts or flannel and workboots and has a job. At least that's what I'd like for it to attract. I've only had it a day, so it's all up in the err at this point.:)

I sure hope it does that for you!

All the gay boys love VWs. It's a known fact. :P

I've only had one positive reaction to my Cobalt and, strangely enough, he called it "cute".

Oddly enough Vipes...your right. Five of my good friends in high school were gay, (actually one was bisexual but...)...and I've had quite a few gay friends. I don't understand the attraction, but yes, gay guys do love VW's...have for a long time.

Lots of guys in the VW TDI club are gay...

Agreed, they seem to love BMW...probably why my sixteen year old son wants one so badly...

If you are going to consider one, look into an e36 or e30 3 series. They are fun, good cars, and they will teach him how to work a wrench. I wouldn't recommend anything newer like an e46...then you're getting into pricier cost of ownership.

I love the E30 cars but here in Ohio most of them are rust buckets. E36 is kind of sort of what I am thinking...perhaps eventually an E36 M3 for me...

I drive a Camaro.

The Cutlass, though, will prove itself at next month's Mid Somernight's Cruse. I had planned to drag it out this past weekend, but it's done nothing but rain the last few days.

Yes, the gays definitely LOVE VWs

Not real sure what chicks my cars attract. I never used them to pick up chicks... Last thing I need is some bimbo one night stand f**king up the paint or interior of one of my cars.

Lets have a little fun though...

68 Camaro SS = Midlife crisis cougar... What she drives: New Camaro or Mustang, BMW 3 or some sort of small but "cute" MB.

73 Camaro Z28/RS = Bad ass tattooed early thirty something... What she drives: Some kind of trendy import like a Scion or a Harley Davidson.

01 Mustang GT Convertible = College age prep chick... Drive some sort of Honda or a 'my parents got it for me' Korean car.

The only thing my car is good at attracting is shopping carts.

LOL!

That's about what mine do, too. Oddly, I don't think the Caprice has ever been hit by a shopping cart while I've owned it....hmmm....

As for me ... well, I'm just doomed anyway...LOL.
