So, what were the worst seats you have experienced in a car you've owned or driven regularly?

For me it was the painful seats in an '85 Mercedes Benz 300TD wagon.

It was like sitting on a concrete block.

That I drove regularly was the sport seats in my dad's `87 Shadow. The blusters dug into you instead of keeping you in place. However the worst seats by far were, as I said, those in the Colorado I used to pick up the 3.5

03 buick lesabre, leather. flat, slide around... you know

by comparison the best was the 91 camaro, side bolsters, cloth, the back had the neck bulge right where mine should be (i'm ~6'2)

Either the seats in the '84 Ford Escort (vinyl, hot in summer, cold in winter) or those in the '88 Bronco II I had in grad school and for a few years after. Low back, cloth bucket seats w/ no headrests, no support, and the back rest warped on the driver's seat....

My 1983 Caprice.

Flat and with very little support. If you sat in the middle of the seat, the steering wheel was off center in front of you. If you sat with the steering wheel centered in front of you, you were much too close to the door and off center on the seat. The head rest was only useful if you were a 4'7" little old woman.

prolly like my 83 regal... except it did raise made 4" for those maybe 5'4" or so.

I usually don't notice seats until it's a long drive, so I'd have to say my mom's 03 Impala...my ass and back were so sore after 6 hours, I didn't want to drive back a week later...

As mentioned in the other thread, my Cutlass' bucket seats. No support, no bolstering, hardly any cushioning, and absolutely no adjustment. You sat at one gansta-rivaling angle all the f**king time.

That generation of Camaro did have comfortable seats...damn...we agree on something else...

Didn't own it or drive it regularly {duh} but the worst seats I've ever experienced were a old BMW 3-series convert. They were like thinly upholstered plywood approximations of car seats.
