Inside Line

How does adding 88 lbs extra for 2006 lower the Accord Hybrid's fuel efficiency by 4 MPG?

Ahh, wait a minute:

What this means to you: Honda won't come right out and say it, but the new fuel-economy ratings on the 2006 Accord Hybrid more accurately reflect real-world results by consumers.

IMO, $31,500 is too much for only 253 hp and 25/34 MPG. I'll buy an Impala LTZ instead and pocket the $5000 I save toward gas expenses.

So much for that asian LIE, eh?

Love how it's biting them in the ass now, yet the media, after doing MUCH damage to Detroit and HYPING this utterly 'useless' technology (in the vein of cost verses benefit) is doing NOTHING but whispering about the reality of the situation now.

Yet another ploy.... Bought hook, line and sinker.
