This is word association, not sense association. You don't have to know what it means. Transmogrify is an old made-up nonsense word, but the ending is taken from latin -ficare "make", so the pres. part. is transmogrificant, the vbl noun is transmogrification or transmogrifying, the agent is a transmogrificant (from the pres. part.), a transmogrificator or transmogrifier. Making an image of transmogrification would be transmogrigraphy.
