Cool picture of the Corvair. It seems the bare, black steel rim look has some history to it. And is that a straight pipe out the back?

There is a silver/red vinyl first-gen Corvair coupe for sale on the road to my mom's. I've been thinking about stopping and checking it out.

(and Blu, the Corvair juxtaposed against the big bathtup Nash in the background....the Corvair looks positively modern sleek...I agree, the black wheels look goes further back than one thinks....this guy obviously understood what a Corvair was...)
