SPIED: 2011 Hyundai Elantra

post-1757-12671640488954.jpg

Our very own member, CanadianBacon94, managed to snap these photos of the Hyundai's next Elantra undergoing cold weather testing in International Falls, MN. The details are still covered up, but we can tell that the overall shape of the new Elantra is much more rakish than today's Elantra. No doubt Hyundai is aiming to push the Elantra upmarket as is the trend for the class. Expect Hyundai to aim it squarely at the class leaders when it debuts as a 2011 model.

Looks like it has a long wheelbase. And thanks to Hyundai for putting that nice big quarter glass in there for extra visibility.:)

I like the hatch profile on sedans but would rather have the hatch with it. Loved my X11 hated the failures & build quality, wish GM could build a nice lite manual trany mid sizer in the guise of X11 that will hold up, mine died @ 69k mi :nono:
