Gee...big suprise...I'm all the way to the left...and almost all the way libertarian.

The only thing I answered in a more conservtive note was the idea that children should sometimes be spanked.

But I hit the bottom left corner on the chart.

Chris

Amazingly, George W Bush is a polar opposite to me...who would ahve thought that...and I am actually more liberal than the Dali Lama and Nelson Mandela...who would have thought that?

took the first one? i tried it too and answered the same as you on that one. Agree, but not Strongly agree.

The things I'm thinking about now would require a new set of test parameters...

when i took the second test several months ago, i thought the result was close enough, obviously it represents a general area you'd likely put yourself in.

like what?

I don't like to be 'pinpointed' by these, since the questions are still too general, IMO.

Me : 'You are a center-right moderate social libertarian. Right: 1.54, Libertarian: 1.22'

I think I would be farther off center (more right, more libertarian) if the questions were more specific.

It's a snapshot.

exactly. it's just a basis to show a general area.. could be used to direct conversation or to "try to think from their POV". why this thread was started in forum feedback. :)

First one has the red dot in the lower left...

http://www.politicalcompass.org/printablegraph?ec=-4.88&soc=-4.56

Economic Left/Right: -4.88

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.56

The second test says:

I am a left moderate social libertarian

Not sure how to get the graphs to display.
