Chrysler seems to be going for the upscale $20,000+ range...What about those people who love Chrysler but can't afford 30K? Bring Plymouth back! Ditch the neon, bring a new small car, midsized car, and compact SUV under the plymouth badge. I miss the breeze so much!

I still don't think Chrysler has figured out how to price/equip cars properly along divisional lines. A $2k cheaper Charger has more/better equipment than a 300 base? C'mon...

They could make alot of $ off of the value brand..if they knew how to use design and style in it.the neon was one of the most ugly cars(pre-2000) ever...Someone was not thinking when they designed headlights that turn yellow after a year.

The Breeze is a decent, if raucous little car. Chrysler does need Plymouth as a value brand. What about the loyalists?

DCX's model dvisional order should be (cheapest to priciest):

1.) smart

2.) Plymouth

3.) Dodge

4.) Chrysler/Jeep

5.) Mercedes-Benz

6.) Maybach

Mercedes-Benz has no business peddling cars like the A-, B-, or even C-class. Especially not anymore. Due to the company, that's where Chrysler (and smart) step in.

A Plymouth brand could be used very effectively against Kia and the low end models from other brands (Aveo, Yaris, Versa, etc).

With Smart not coming to the US and likely to be sold off, this is a definite gap in the DC hierarchy.

you know what would've kept plymouth alive?

^that would've been DIRECYT competition with the saturn sky and pontiac solstice.

That was a neat concept car... could have made a great little roadster for Plymouth (instead of overpriced nonsense like the Prowler).

Exactly.

And this was what, vintage 1996 or something like that?

Wasn't Bob Lut still over there at Chrysler?

Gee, and this even previewed the 2.4L Turbo 4 engine.

Damn it!

Chrysler would have done well to keep Plymouth around.

And, Did you know? The PT Cruiser was going to be the PLYMOUTH PT Cruiser?!?!

Totally agree there. My Breeze is fun to drive. Wish it had a stick though, hehe. Ah, it's colour reminds me of money, and one of my friends wants to buy it from me, but she needs to meet the lowest price limit first.

Yo Raven, how about we become big-wigs at DCX and bring Plymouth back, eh?

I'm with you! The day I become rich, the first thing I'm gonna do is bring back plymouth!

Plymouth would be on my list of brands to bring back but only after Oldsmobile, LaSalle & Packard.
