Well I finally got around to giving the Prizm some lovin' and bought it some new front tires and got it a front end alignment. The tires had dry rot and it was pulling bad to the right.

I talked with the shop. they had cheap tires but of course they were Chinese junk. The receptionist (who handles tires and phone calls and so on) recommended Bridgestone Insignias, more pricey but she said they were worth it. Good all weather traction and 65k life. So $210 later teh fronts are new. Will do the rears before the first rotation is due.

It's like driving a new car. The wobble is gone (the tires were worn improperly), and it goes straight down the road, not fighting me to go right. It was raining tonight and they didn't spin one bit, whereas the old ones, even when new, did. They get my approval.

The old ones would spin in the rain from a stop very easily. It was always a pain if you were trying to turn quickly from a stop.

Although yes, I have spun the tires on dry ground before in it. :P
