I've been busy with college and life. I hope everyone is well. I'm hoping to become a more active C & G member now that the New GM is developing.

Welcome to the site! So do you have a blue Z34? Cavalier right? Or something else?

I used to have 2001 Z24 Coupe that was blue. I currently drive a blue 2007 Trailblazer and red 2002 Z24 Sedan.

If memory serves the Z34 was the Lumina Sedan and Coupe until 1994 and from 1995-1999 the Monte Carlo

Long time no check-in from me. I too have been consumed with work and FBook :yikes: but I am coming back to my 1st love in the blogosphere and that is C & G! I am currently trying to talk my wife into trading her S40 for a new Lacrosse. I have not been successful, lol. In other news, the Regal is still going strong with over 185k miles on it!! Anyways good to be back. I will have to re-acquaint myself with the site as I see a lot of cool new diggs happening. Later Gators!

I joined a writing forum the other day and then decided that I also should learn about cars. So, here I am. :)

Good to be back. Nice new forum, I kinda miss the old one but I'm sure this will grow on me. At least in Franklin Gothic Medium.

Well all your old posts are still here, just more modern software that will allow us to expand and add more features overtime.

Of course, many of the same... uhm... colorful... personalities are still here!

Hello, all-

Great site here - I check it often.

I think I may have violated the protocol by posting in a thread before posting in here - apologies. (I was so jazzed about the Regal GS concept I hopped onto that thread too soon!)

I previously owned a lowly W-body Monte SS (3.8 Series II) and quite liked it but sadly traded it for an SUV for my wife and being the great guy I am I took her old car (a dilapidated base level 2000 VW Golf with 130K miles). Needless to say this has encouraged much thinking and dreaming of what I will replace this hand-me-down with. G8 GT? New or used CTS? LaCrosse or Regal? Used STS? Lucerne Super? Silverado? Challenger R/T? If finances don't materialize as I'd wish, I'd even dig a Bonneville SSEI, Aurora, Riviera, heck maybe even some older Panther-based car if I could convince myself I'd get semi reasonable reliability from any of these.

I am sad about GM's finances and about the role of the administration and don't pretend to understand it all but it is exciting at least to see some of the newer GM product lately such as the Lacrosse and Regal and I eagerly await such things as the new XTS, perhaps a some day Impala replacement, and numerous possibilities.

Thanks for 'listening'!
