It's been 2 years since I've joined this site. So... just like last year, I must start a thread and celebrate! :D Time for a beer... w00t!

Now I just wish that this 240sx Chris showed me wasn't on ebay and could wait until I got everything sold. Damn him for showing me this... it's so clean... and black... I want! :P

Hmm... thanks to Chris, I am looking again. :D

If this one wasn't in Nebraska, I'd be beggin my parents to buy while I sell my things. No, it's not an SE coupe like I wanted, but it looks goods, has decent mileage compared to most 240sx's, and is cheap. My ATV would pay for all of it if I sell it for how much I want. That would give me an extra $1000 to spend...

Yes... the photography is excellent, highlighting the GTO's best features... Anyways, wouldn't it be great if I came across a 300ZX I could afford? I looked at some on ebay. Now those... are hypnotic. I want one now. :D Too bad insurance would probably be killer and I'd be hard-pressed to find one cheap enough. Oh well... I still love my 240SXs. :P

Haha... yeah, but it'd make a great road trip! :P

Here are a few more that are actually right on the edge of my budget...

300ZX -FL (cheap... )
240SX -FL (although, way too much for an 89 XE)
240SX -TX (very nice, actually.. *BV wants*)

[post="65395"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]

Ack...that gold one is...not nice. Did you try putting your ATV on Craigslist Pittsburgh? And the car too for that matter.

Not yet... but may I ask how? :P I forgot if you told me anything in the Pm... I really like that dark red 240SX, though. I'm gonna consult my parents about it... See what's possible. :D

Well guys... I'm going for it. I'm going to try and get that dark red '93 240SX. So far, my mom denied it because it was in Texas, but I need to explain my plan to her. Either they could get a loan, or help me me co-sign for one, to pay for it and to have it shipped here. Once I sell my things (if ever, is more like it...), I'll pay them or the loan back. Then I'll finally get a job and use that to pay off the rest. Think they'll go for it? I hope so... I hate not having a car and I want this car, badly. It seems I can never get the car I want, though... So, who knows. Thanks to Chris for the basic idea... :D

Hmm... one year minus one day before my Daughter's birth. Cool.

Anyway neat chop, I heard form a GM rep in 2000 that there was some talk of a 1997 Chevelle that would have been just a 2dr Malibu. THANK god that did not happen.

Can you imagine Beretta II being called Chevelle???

Can't remember my first post... :P

Anyways, still looking and still having told'em my idea to get a car now. Here's some ones I'm considering other than the red one I already posted about. '91 - $2900 '96 - $2995 '93 - $2950 '93 - $3000 I asked for more info on that '96... if it's as good of a deal as I think it is.. I may get it instead of an S13. It's almost irrestible. Oh, I forgot to ask about it's mileage, though. Guess I will if he responds to my email.

No... it's the white car, the last pic. For some odd reason, that dealer is selling it through that while the black car has been sold. Odd, but it looks to be a good deal for now. I'll have to wait for him to respond to know for sure.

Anyways... you need to brush up on your automotive history, Mister. :P S13s last year (in the US) was '94 for convertables, but for coupes and hatchbacks it was '93. S14s first year (US) was '95 and only came in the coupe bodystyle. I prefer the styling of S13s, but S14s are more refined and... well... new. :D Newer is better with used cars.

Oh I didn't even scroll down far enough on the autotrader page to see the one pic of the white one. Yea Im a little rusty on my early-mid 90's Nissan knowledge.

Hahah, Newer better?!?! I thought it was like wine, needs some aging. :P

Now go do your homework. :D

check the weight on the S14s, I think that might be one pretty big difference in the S13s favor. I had an S13 and a friend had an S14, he claimed mine "felt" faster, though we never raced. Don't be afraid of high mileage with these, though being able to drive one is a plus. The 300 actually is less fun to drive. Yes it is more powerful [though for the price of one you could easily slap a turbo on an S13], but it felt a lot bigger when I drove it. I don't just mean its size either, the braking felt less intuitive, the engine felt winded [not turbo] and didn't sound so good, and it just felt and handled like a larger car. My favorite is the hatch too. You're just giving up so much utility if you go for the coupe, and the hatch has always been better looking in my eyes, especially with just a nice set of rims and maybe a bra on a red one. That was my car basically, and I always got complimented on it. Anyways, I hope you can get one soon, it'll come soon. Look at MR2s as well! Happy hunting!

Yeah, weight was always one of my main concerns with the S14s. I will say that high mileage does scare me. I mean, I don't want to, and can't afford to, have problems. I'm already somewhat concerned with the mileage most of the ones I'm considering. I guess I could lighten up, but I got bit in the ass by a mean Grand Am. :D Of course, it's probably just going to be a "GM thing"... Hopefully, atleast. I always prefered the coupes, though. The hatch looks good too, but I just have a thing for notchback coupes. I'll take either, though. I'm really liking that black hatch for $2900. It's one of the closer ones to me and it has some appealing factors like nice wheels, sunroof, and leather (although the driver seat looks terrible). I'm also waiting for info on the one without pics. That one sounds appealing, but I won't know until I see pics.

That black one looks pretty clean on the outside. For reference, I got mine with a 130k miles for free and drove it until it was totalled with 170k miles. The car was in incredible shape, the chassis was wonderful, and the engine purred. It had been well taken care of despite being in two major accidents where it could have been totalled. It finally was totalled with me, someone else's fault. Of course the drive should tell you a lot right away about the engine condition and such. I still miss that car. I had to do a few brake changes and caliper changed once and a radiator, all were pretty minor, and easily overlooked since the car was so much fun year round. It was even more fun in the snow. I'm the kind of person that takes things as they come, so I was never worried about driving it in the snow. I never even got around to putting salt bags in it. It used to slip and slide, but I learned to drive very carefully, and that really only happened in extreme icy conditions. Great car all around. Get one with the removable sunroof, you won't regret that.

Well... want to know how to piss off BV? That red 93? It took forever for the seller to tell me it was sold. That one I just found? Already sold and it literally popped up while in the middle of looking over some again. That's when I emailled him. Now, the one I haven't really talked about, the 93 for $3k that originally had no pics? I've been talking to the seller. It seemed like I had finally found some luck and was going to be able to buy it. That is until he just told me there are other people interested in it that contacted before me. Nice to finally tell me... Well, I basically offered to pay an extra hundred or two. I'm desperate. Hopefully, it'll be mine.
