BMW • M Roadster BMW will reveal the M Roadster in Detroit, along with a host of updates to the Z4 line. Requisite tweaks for the M Roadster include a deeper front spoiler, a rear diffuser, quad tailpipes and handsome double-spoke 18-inch rims. Under the M-only hood (distinguished by creases either side of the centerline) resides the oh-so-powerful inline six from the M3. That engine makes 343 horsepower and promises sub-5-second 0-60-mph times. Additional changes to the Z4 line include more power for the Valvetronic six-cylinder engines. BMW has also confirmed that the Z4 Coupe "concept" that debuted in Frankfurt is darn close to what will roll off the assembly line.

I actually like the way the Z4 looks now (took a while). An M Coupe would be awesome, but maybe they think it would take sales away from the M3.

I thought the 3-Series Coupe and Convertible were to be shown at NAIAS as well.
