I ate my first roasted chestnut last night. I was disappointed...don't like them at all. :(

Xmas has had control over me, so I finally am able to get on the 'net... 40 or so hours later. :D

Anyways... HAPPY ATHEISTIC XMAS, EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!

Twas a pleasant one for me... I guess. Ended the day $500 richer with some decorative lighting (not what you think), a nice shirt (I actually like it, pic of me with it on coming soon), a leather wallet (asked for it; needed one and wanted it to match my leather jacket), some colougne (Bod man... meh, atleast it smells somewhat better than the shit I wear), condoms (haha... gotta love my mom... and how she said "don't be like your cousin and knock some girl up"... oh the ironyt *shakes head* ), love drops (lmao... don't ask), a flashlight (doesn't use batteries!), a Heinicker magnet set w/ bottle opener (gag gift, but I'll use it, hehe...), and some Dove chocolate ('nother gag gift, but I oh so love dark chocolate... mmm)! We went to both grandparent's, as always, and had fun. Moreso on my mom's side (dad's side is more... religious, if ya know what I mean). Let's see... there I drank a Smirnoff, a Miller lite, and few glasses of Margarita!!! Also, we played cards (Cad/31.. whatever you call it, my favorite game). My family is funny, though... the whole night was filled with laughter because of my drunken aunt (she's a nut... the youngest, the wild one). Anyways, once we came home... the fun stopped but I won't get into that.

So... my Xmas wasn't too superficial, eh Croc? :D

No... one is black and the others don't really say. They were meant to be gag gifts, but she gave them to me instead. Hopefully... they'll get used. I just have to find someone to use them with first. :D Hmm... any C&Gers want that privilege? :P Haha...

I also had a pretty good Christmas (though not Atheistic  ). Most everything was stuff I "need" and not just want (AKA not much "fun" stuff, but stuff I like). Oil and air filter for the car, funnel, tire gauge, air compressor, jumper wires, multimeter, soldering iron, electrical tape, wiring set (has a helluva lot in it), flashlight thing (for the car with a few small tools in it in case anything were to happen), very nice Crescent tool kit, Hollister "Drift" cologne, Lucky Brand cologne, slippers, boxers, pajama bottoms, white HCO track pants, white AE pants, stonewashed HCO jeans, AE button-up, AE long-sleeve polo (gray/white), AE leather bracelet, Aero track jacket (white/navy blue), two AE long-sleeve tees (white w/ green embroidery & green with blue writing/white accents), HCO tee, candy, "personal care" items, $120 (so far), blank CDs, computer paper, and this Dell Dimension 5100 w/ 5.1 Surround Sound that I got about 3-4 months ago. It doesn't look like much sitting in the corner in the room, but, damn, that's a pretty damn big list lol.

Front license plate replacement molding for my car Anthracite carpet floor mats for my car (my old tan ones looked horrible) BMW License plate frame (Chrome with black italicized BMW lettering) A nice BMW polo shirt...it's black with red piping and it's got a BMW logo on it somewhere I think and an ///M emblem on the sleeve. I like it... Best Buy gift card California Car car cover 150 bucks (so far) and to come: UUC short shift kit and double sheer selector rod

Me, Marica & Sofia were invited to the InLaws to sleep over and open presents on Christmas Morning... it was a good time and lots of fun although the usual craziness of the Holidays was abundant. :P

So did some of the stuff/money I got.... It counts. :D

Anyways, does anybody have any suggestions for colougne for me? I mean.. that'd be good for me? You know... I've been wanting something that I actually like for once. I should probably look in that old thread there was... but maybe I won't have to. :P So... any help?

Cologne? Lucky Brand, "Drift" from Hollister, or "Fierce" from A&F. Those are the only three kinds I like.. Coincidentally, I have a large, medium, and small bottle of the Lucky stuff. lol

Darn. :( :AH-HA_wink:

Getting back to the "chestnut" thing... you guys know chestnuts have a spiny husk, right? So my "shaving" comment was valid in a way... not just slightly "dirty"? Edited by ocnblu

Highlights of what I received yesterday:

books:
Chevrolet SS … by Robert Genat
Wrigley Field history

Car-related:
California Car Duster
California Interior Duster
Gift certificate for lube/oil/filter change

Misc:
Gift certificate for haircut
heated blanket
heated bed sheet
Flavored spoons (for hot cocoa, etc)
DVD player
Dukes of Hazzard DVD, Season 2

...and a few other things ;). But, no condoms ... not that I'd have a use for 'em anyway...heh. I need to change that, of course...lol.

Friends and family are good gifts, too, of course!!!

And, despite Gramps' death a few weeks ago, I DID lead the regular Sunday service for Pinecrest (where he and Gram had lived since 2001...Gram died 2002). It was a special service, whereby the pianist (a former Elgin resident that is a dear family friend) picked out 7 hymns...and I picked out 6 readings (5 poems, etc., and 1 Bible selection) ... and did a mini "hymn sing/read sharing" service.....

Then, we spent a few hours at my Aunt's house ... and celebrated with a CHICAGO BEARS victory that clinched the division and a first round bye in the playoffs!!!!
