The Colorado results are based on a lie! Since Denver (and much of Colorado) is the "Mile High City", it's residents are one mile further from the gravitational center of the earth, they weigh less than people one mile lower. I demand a re-weigh of all the people of Colorado with altitude adjusted scales! (J/K)

Nah, it's because we have a lot of people here that are fit and really into outdoor activities (hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, etc...)

Their weight is exactly what a properly calibrated scale (at sea level, or at any other level) would read. Their mass might not be exactly what you would expect, but that's how much force they exert through gravity.

Chris ........... I was just kidding.

Actually the people of Colorado are so light that their weight doesn't hold down the land.......... The true explanation for Colorado's mountains.

I honostly think that it's more than 25% here in NC/SC. I mean, it seems like everyone I look at is fat. You don't truely realize it until you go to another country and see how skinny and healthy looking everyone is. It's rare to find someone fat in Japan, but rare to find someone skinny in USA....it's quite sad imo.

I'm pretty sure IL is at the top for obesity among the youth, and that's funny because it's also the only state that requires PE.

NC requires PE

Yey! Massachusetts, along wiht Colorado, RI & VErmont are the four least chubby. Wahtever... I'm pretty skinny, used to be thin as a board but I've always found girls wiht some meat on their bones to be the sexiest. Nine times out of a hunderd I'm more turned off by bony supermodels than turned on. Maybe I should move to Miss. or Alabama. :P
