Damn, the Solstice GXP sounds exciting. Power is what the base Solstice always needed, not Miata delicacy or poise. Brute American force always makes up for it.

The Solstice GXP sounds hot. Some of us predicted this would be Pontiac's LA entry, not a larger RWD vehicle. Still... very cool. Can't wait to see it.

2.0 T with Direct Injection :o  :lol:

Man that car is going to rock!

Mind if I repost this on CZ28?

[post="58408"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]

I don't remember any other GM cars with direct injection. Is this a new engine, then? If so, what are the chances this technology makes its way to other GM engine families.

I know the VW/Audi 2.0 L turbo four with direct injection is getting rave reviews - some even prefer it to their lesser V6s. That engine makes only 197 HP and 207 lb-ft of torque. I'm assuming the GM engine will be close to the 250 HP we've heard rumored?

Sounds quite impressive!
