So the old SRX was longer, wider, taller, with a bigger engine, and RWD, yet still weighed less? How is this a step foward?

I believe the "front-wheel drive is better, more fuel-efficient, and lighter" bandwagon is rolling along on two flat tires. Now, what's it gonna take to make the other two go flat?

If the next-generation SRX can bring back the lighter, more dynamic rear-drive layout of the old SRX with the style and substance of the new SRX, we'd have a winner.
