...also know as the Milford Road Course inside the proving grounds.

Did several laps in the 2.8 turbo SRX...though...I can't tell you what I thought until the 7th.

Got an hour in the CTS wagon too. I can't tell you what I thought of that until the 17th.

I've noted the 'Lutzring' in ariel shots- have you drive much of the rest of Milford ?? How about that monster-long loop on the west border ?

Anyone believe GM could make mad bags of money having open houses there, where they invite car clubs to come in & drive like wild (after signing inch-thick liability releases, of course) ?? I would love to even tool around in a golf cart there, soaking up the aura....

On second thought- isn't letting Chris into Milford like letting the Hamburgeler into the Mickey D's kitchen ? :scratchchin:

This is a really good idea--let the enthusiast public push their own machines to the limit at GM's proving grounds on certain days of the week.

I'd love to go there to see what the energy is like. My eyeballs would be sooo peeled for any hint of upcoming iron.

This could potentially be a liability dissaster. Especially if they allow more than one person on the track at a time.

There are places for stuff like this. bondurant, skip barber, etc.

Liability waivers? As you said, there are places that do this...GM should get in on that business.

Nice idea, but it will never happen.

It was a big deal for them to shut that part of the track down just for the 2 hours we were there. Apparently a ZR1 was out doing tire testing before we got there.

It would cost too much and the lawyers would never allow it no matter what you signed. Track control and EMT have to be on standby trackside anytime anyone runs there. GM takes track saftey uber-serious.
