Don't get me wrong. Not that I couldn't see the pics and now I'm posting this.

Could the pics be leaked intentionally by GM?

From a marketing point of view, it's very clever indeed. Leak the picks, then taking them down immediately, bluffing legal action. Gets people thinking, speculating, etc, etc. Just think of all the hype it's getting now. At least it got everybody and a lot of forum talking and stuff. Also serves the effect of a marketing survey. GM gets the valuable information that people DO want a Camaro.

I could be wrong though. Edited by ToniCipriani

Bright f**king red Corvette C6 being loaded onto an open car trailer in the middle of a busy city, shiny like a new penny and no car cover, no tarp, no duct tape or foam... :P

But after reading Josh's annoucement, I think I am proved wrong. The C6 was weeks from announcement when it was caught, but this one is years. It could really ruin it.

The C6 was a pre-introduction production car, the Camaro is not (concept). Cipriani makes a valid point. I don't know the answer, but if it was intentional, I agree with Cipriani: it's a smart move IMO, for a vehicle discontinued only a few years ago (directly) for falling sales.

Actually the C6 pics came from the filming of a commercial in San Fan. Remember the Super Bowl unveiling commercial? That is where part of the car carrier ads were filmed. The streets were closed and a guy happend to get a couple of pics, totally different than this. This is a leak of an OLDER Camaro clay. A design study to see what direction the design should go at the time. It has bearing but is NOT the Camaro concept we will see in Detroit!
