I mean, I think I am inclined to agree that someone who falls asleep is to blame for getting himself and his friend killed, but there must be something more complex about the reality of this situation that you haven't taken into account. Ford didn't settle. They fought and (wrongly) lost. They jury ordered them to pay.

Im sure theres many lawsuits going on here. I hate law suits myself but with that said SUV's are crap. Anybody that can't come to grips with the inherent problems of short wheel base & huge tires combined with high center of gravity wasnt paying attention to Jeep CJ fiasco, or were ignorant to think it went away with the Jeep. :rolleyes: But then again hasnt there been much publicity about the problems with SUV's ? Its so amusing how we are now raising the center of gravity on cars to ease the visibility problem on the roadways created by the vast amount of these billboards with wheels on the road.
