That sounds like a personal problem!

Anyway, I'm not sure you can go and buy one per say, but mice balls are universal ins ize for teh most part. So with a little snipping and unscrewing from a willing donor, your mouse will have bigger balls!

Otherwise, get an optical or laser mouse and never look back!

Wow!

I really am on C&G!

In all seriousness, I found an old computer in the attic and couldn't attach any mouse to it - the ports were the giant, screw-in kind. I never knew.

And the computer really didn't seem that old... made in the 2000s, I think?

Thanks for the heads up.

The thing that always annoyed me about mouse balls were how the rollers around the ball would get gunked up and make movements awkward. This thread reminds me of a faux-PSA I saw on an episode of Reno 911! about keeping your mouse balls clean.

Interesting..I think even my 15 yr old Packard Bell PC had the PS/2 style mouse port (i.e. the green or purple round plug in).

Wouldn't a new mouse be like $8? I cant imagine you'll find a replacement ball for much less than that. Now if you could find a public computer that still used balled mice, that would be a different story.

Once you get an optical mouse you wont want to ever go back to a ball mouse.
