So, what does your car/truck/bike/wife drink?

(and we are talking about motor oil here... :smilewide: )

Glad to see someone was paying attention.... :neenerneener:

No drinking here ( though I'd like to), unless you count Nyquil.....stupid weather.

GTX High Mileage 10W40 in the 'Burb with a quart of Lucas Oil Stabilizer; has 250,000 miles on it and doesn't burn but a few drops between changes (every 3,000). Only time I ever used Mobil 1 was after I swapped the new 3800 into my '96 Riviera because it put me back to 14,000 miles and I figured it was worth it for a basically brand new engine.

Speaking of synthetics, anybody used Royal Purple or Amsoil? If so, is it as good as they say it is?

Both cars came with maintenance, so its whatever the dealership puts in.

The Buick was getting the cheap $h! from Wal-Mart, since it just burned it off. Once I get the new motor rebuilt, it'll probably get Quaker State.

NyQuil counts. Forget that fact it has no alcoholic content, it's practically legal moonshine.

Scary enough, Walmart's stuff is actually pretty good....

1981 Bonneville 10W30 in whatever brand the dealer puts in. I think it is Quaker State

1985 Caprice 10W30 Quaker State at the dealer

2008 Impala 5W30 Quaker State at the dealer.

Just for fun.

1986 John Deere 165 lawn tractor. 30W.

2007 Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor. Made the mistake of putting 5W30 in it. People are telling me I should have put 30W in it. Maybe I will rectify this before mowing season starts.

Lots of QS, I see.
