While 97% of those are hilarious, the stupid Abominable Snowman

from the old Windows 3.1 Skiing game is epic_funny.

I loved that stupid game, my favorite, even over minefield!

Also beer.

Hey! It's THE BEER STORE! (Everyone in Ontario cheers)

We have there here in Ontario where our alcohol is provincially controlled. Quebec, on the other hand, allows it to be sold in convenience stores. What's the policy in the states?

Posted

It varies by state. I know Utah doesn't allow anything over a certain % of alcohol to be sold in the state.

Here in MO, you can buy beer just about anywhere. Grocery stores, liquor stores, and gas stations. Locally, Brown Derby is the liquor store of choice, they've got the best selection and best prices. Plus there is one on every corner. The St. Louis and Jefferson City have this fantastic place called Dirt Cheap. The best part is their commercials, which include a guy in a chicken costume going "Cheap! cheap! Fun! Fun!" I found one on Youtube.

Yeah it's like 3.25 to 1 (population wise)

by leaving their baby girls in the woods to die, the

REALLY civilized parents stick them in cramped 3rd

world orphanages. <_<

From Nine Inch Nails' 'Viability Index', a fake future real estate site created to go along with the futuristic theme of their album 'Year Zero':

In the aftermath of the "one child" policy, China has been producing 117 boys for every 100 girls since before the turn of the century. As long as the nation has an aggressive military and a growing economy, 60 million extras guys who can't get laid might not be too much of a problem, but watch out if either of those things change--and consider that fact before moving to Taiwan, Vietnam, or Mongolia.
