Definitely a lot of cheese in that commercial, but I've always liked how car commercials from that era were so energetic...unlike the blah garbage we usually get today (with a few exceptions).

Do they say "zed" in Canada?

Yes. It's one of those few differences, along with the 'u' in certain words like 'colour'.

...but when you sing the alphabet song as a kid you have to say 'zee' or it just doesn't sound right.

Also, 'E-Z' on American packaging confused me as a kid. I remember sitting there thinking, 'what the hell is ee-zed?'

I love the car and yes it is an 80's commercial but like the 80's Pontiac ads with We Build Excitement they actual got you excited to get the product and drive it.
