Bush and Co just want to be able to blame the dems when the bailout doesn't work....

Be nice to see a similar criticism of the financial industry.

Out of curiosity, what part isn't true? People haven't been buying domestics, and now the Big 3 are on the verge of getting taxpayer money.

Its all true, but dont forget every GM enthusiast on this board is also an expert economist who knows exactly what's best for the big three. So dont laugh at true perspectives on the issue.

Mainly because for the most part (American Manufacturers have had their stinkers like the ION etc), the $h!ty Cars comment isn't true... at least IMO.

Personally, I think we're all sick of bailouts...somehow I think that 2010 and 2012 will also be years that votors will show discontent at the polls.

So I think this just picks up on our national cynicism.

To be bipartisan, what we need right now is a dose of "morning in America" by Reagan and "Change, and we can do better" by Obama. One of the biggest things we need to get rid of is this coud of negativity that has been floating over our heads since the 1970's, anyways.

Were Americans (and Canadians) Dammit! We CAN do better...

...and if we don't, there is a Kia Rio waiting on a lot for its debut in your driveway.

So everyone would be fine with it if the word "$h!ty" were removed and a Freestar were used instead of a Windstar?

Probably Taurus X would be better since that's what' s what the sell now...or a Flex.

I'm looking forward to the Kia Soul.

That's almost as obscene as some of your porn titles...and not nearly as funny.

Yech, I've seen enough Windstars to last me a lifetime seeing as how I work just off Ford Drive where they used to be built. Now its Flex country. I don't see that vehicle catching on much or the plant lasting 5 more years.

I have an awkward soft spot for tiny, ugly, boxy vehicles.

So you like the Nissan Cube and the first gen Scion xB?

In a strange way, yes. I wouldn't buy one (I came close to getting an Element at one point, until I discovered it is impossible to sit in it comfortably) but I like them well enough.
