Oliver Stone's "W." is coming out next Friday. ANyone have plans to go see it? I've only read a couple of reviews and they pretty much said it was ok and Stone even gave Bush a fair shake, it wasn't just a bash piece. I'll have to check it out to see.

I might go for it, or a least rent it. I have a book on him that paints a pretty fair picure of him as well.

I'm not going to unless friends want me to go with them...I mean why pay $12 at the Grove when I've had a front seat to all this the past 8 years for free? I'm so over this administration, and prolly will try to just block it from my memory until some REAL historical analysis can be made and published in 10-20 years.

Think about it...in 2008, we still can't really look back and judge the Clinton administration and its impacts all that clearly...we're just now being able to wrap our heads around the 80s...so I think this movie is premature and cannot paint more than a pop-culture superficial picture of Bush's "legacy" because it cannot have critical distance.

From the trailer I saw, it doesn't offer much of an analysis of the past 8 years; it's more a look at his formative years pre-Presidency than anything else. I could be wrong though.

Then I really don't give a $h!. I'd rather spend 2 hours watching trashy reality tv than give my attention to Bush any longer than necessary.

Ehh... Croc and I go way back with that joke. Once in a while I accuse him, he denies, and we go on. No harm meant on my part.

Don't make me break my self-imposed rule so soon. Get over it.

You're seriously threatening me? Over the internet? No, sir, YOU need to "get over it."

It's a shame in my opinion to be so old and stiff at such a young age. Loosen up a bit... yeah, it's only the internet, I know that... how much of a threat can I be? Lord have mercy.

Threat? WHAT. THE. f@#k.

All this drama because I didn't find your attempt at humor to be funny in the least? And no...it's mainly not funny anymore because you've only been making variations of the same joke for years now. How many times do you expect to get a laugh out of telling the SAME joke to the same people?

f@#k it, I'm done with this $h!.
