Mmmmmm I love Korean...it isn't that much different from Chinese or Japanese...

If you ever want to try some good Korean that to my knowledge doesn't sell bad, go to Seol Jung...street level of the Wilshire Grand at the corner of Wilshire and Figueroa.  A bit pricey, but their Bul Go Gee is to die for.

I love Korean food, too... Bi Bim Bap (rice cooked in a stone pot with beef), seafood pancake, and their DIY BBQ meats are all delish. Most of their appetizers are pretty good. I don't know what it's called, but there's a really good Korean restaurant on Sepulveda and Arlington in Torrance, CA.

houston has tons of restaurants, second only to MAYBE new york.

Oh I've been to Houston. Love it. Galleria is my favorite mall. There's a sushi buffet called Kirin that is REALLY good. When I posted my above post, though, I was really referring to going outside of LA but staying in SoCal or maybe venturing into NorCal. I was just saying that I know there's more to SoCal than LA...and I need to visit it sometime.

Where to start. I like the smell of pickles but cannot stand the taste. Nothing from McDonalds will enter my mouth for the rest of my life. I'm not big on seafood. I love most Chinese foods and anything I can get at the one good Japanese steakhouse 'round here. With all this discussion about nuts, I cannot go without mentioning Cashew Chicken, which was invented here in Springfield (or so the story goes). People around here say you cant get good Cashew Chicken anywhere but here, when the truth is that you cant get good Cashew Chicken anywhere, the stuff sucks.

Chris: Ever heard of that sissy girlie drink called a Sombrero? Love em... sad to admit. It's just Kalhua & Milk. A white Russian is just that plus vodka. Stace: Love the McFish as well.... did you know it's statistically been proven that they sell a much higher number of them on days it rains? Weird but true.

Oh, and Sushi... YUM!!! :) There's an awsome Chineseee/Japanese restaurant close by that is reasonably priced but Five stars in quality. They have this stuff called Dragon Sushi... some exotic fish that tastes awsome.

Sombrero's are good. I take mine with skim to keep the calories low..Kahlua ice cream is the best use of Kahlua though... Dragon Sushi? You mean Dragon Rolls? Nothing really exotic about them, just the presentation to make them look like a dragon! I believe they are topped with avocado to achieve the effect. IIRC they are very similar to the Caterpillar roll...sometimes the names have been used interchangeably.

Menudo.  I don't like any kind of fatty meat, or anything with bones.  I actually don't really like meat at all.
