Anybody ever bought something off the TV that didn't turn out to be total crap? Maybe it was actually worth more than what you paid for it?

I saw a commercial once for a product called the Perfect Pushup, and then forgot about it for a while until I saw it in Wal-Mart for $20. A buddy of mine had it and liked it, so I decided to try it out since it was on sale (usually $40). It's probably been the best twenty bucks I've spent; it's durable and I have actually seen results with it. I use it almost every day and had added about 2 or 3 inches to the circumference of my arms and my whole upper body is toned. I've been using it for about 7 months now. Even if it broke tomorrow and I had to buy another one, I feel like I've gotten more than my money's worth.

I have a Perfect Pushup, but I need to start using it. I've heard good things about it from my fraternity brothers.

I have a Bowflex Ultimate XTLU from 2002, but I ordered online, not from the TV. Love the damn thing. Just used it again last night, in fact.

A friend of mine has the Bullit food chopper and loves it...I'm looking into getting one myself.

No. Too skeptical. It's like sending a check or giving a C.C. number to a "black hole" or sending a message in a bottle, though I know that isn't the case. But glad to hear you got a good product. My monthly $ 20 goes to the 24-Hour-Fitness chain and some of the skanky locations it subsidizes.

The ones that drive me nuts are the "Hair Club for Men" ones that seem to run all night. Or the famous words said over and over "Call 1-800-xxx-xxxx" or "send $ 19.99 to PO Box xxxx, Atlanta, GA 30308."

I was channel surfing this afternoon and saw an infomercial for Colon Blow. I didn't know what they were advertising at first, but figured it when one of talking heads talked about "after a few short weeks, you will see natural, smooth bowel movements"..

I do know a few guys that tried Colon Blow a while back and said that all it did was give them a week worth of diarehha.

I've been wondering about the "Shark Steam Mop", it looks fabulous. And I'm going to have to find me one of those "Perfect Push-ups", but I won't go to Wal-Mart to get it.

AS Seen on TV products worth getting:(current)

Magic Bullet (should work great for baby food!)

Shark Steam Mop (Either the 80 or 100 buck one)

Ped Egg (scary, they actually work.... :ninja: )

Perfect Push up

Magic Putty ( I know someone who actually fixed their 96 Saturn with it)

I'm missing one.....I'll have tro remember it.....

Once found the Infinity Razor at a CVS, and gave it a try figuring I could always return it to the store (actually gave it to my dad as a spoof x-mas gift, and just had to try it after he told me how terrible it was). That thing was the BIGGEST PIECE OF $h! in the world! The only reason they can possibly claim it stays sharp forever is because it's not that sharp to begin with! My usual Mach 5 blades with 10 uses probably work better then that thing.

I make it a point not to watch infomercials lately because if I want to buy something I'd rather do it without that tool Billy Mays yelling at me about why I should. Whatever happened to the good old days with Ron Popeil pitching useless crap like the Inside-the-Shell Egg Scrambler and Hair in a Can?

Orange Glo hardwood floor refinisher. Did an ok job.

I always use OxyClean when washing whites. Just seems to make them brighter without inviting the bleach monster in to eat. Can get it at target now though.

I think that CLR Remover stuff (Calcium-Lime-Rust cleaner) does a pretty thorough job too. We used it one time in our bathroom and it made certain metal surfaces look almost new.
