There is a huge middle in the US that neither party in the US really represents, I think...

that's cause the parties don't represent what they used to in their peak times.

fascism... we're not that, or else it'd be like WALL-E, and nobody would really care about anyone else and be lazy... oh, wait. hahahaaahhaahah

end corporations legal status!!!! :D

Not that I agree or disagree with the Second Amendment, but how do you explain the horrific murder rates in the United States? Those numbers are on par with the most abysmally poor, 3rd world countries. Nowhere else in the developed world is there gun crimes and murder rates like the U.S.

You just don't get it.... this same basic STUPID rehashed argument has

been going around since before I was alive. Let me ask you something.

How many people in the U.S. commit gun crimes with a REGISTERED weapon?

I'd love to see ONE shred of proof of a drive-by, hate crime, drug-related

shooting or other gun-crime in the ghetto, sorry... (inner-city) where the

guilty party had a legally purchased and REGISTERED firearm...?

Neverind the thouands of cops who are allowed to carry firearms in their

cruisers and can calll on a arsenal of fully-automatic assault wepons if

they feelthe need should push come to shove...

add to that all the dirty cops, several towns in my neck of the woods

here in Mass have been revealed to have MORE corrupt cops than not.

So I say the hell with you, if you want to take your chances and expect

the government to protect you, go right ahead, I would MUCH rather

have my fate in my own hands nd by extension have the strength of

niumbers on my side.

All of my law-abiding firends & neighbors that own firearmshel protect ME

by extenson. I'm al for keeping the oddsin OUR favor.

legal firearms > criminals with black market, unregistered (possibly fully auto) guns

This is not 1783.

No it is NOT the 18th century, but our civil liberties are in MORE danger

than ever! Big brother is HERE, pretty soon there will be more live-feed

cameras than people in this country.

There are a lot of critics who have drawn parallels between Homeland Security and the legislation Hitler's cronies enacted in the mid-thirties in Germany.

Agreed. Gun control, The Patriot act & Big brother are all very simillar monsters!

Just for clarification, Nazism is the polar opposite of socialism.

You are 100% WRONG dude...

I do not have the time &/or patience for one of my five

paragraphposts but google found this, seems to be a

pretty basic explanation.

http://www.lawrence.edu/sorg/OBJECTIVISM/socfasc.html

Hitler's motivation to confiscate firearms from the citizenry would be to ensure that no one could oppose him, not because he was concerned for their safety or because he favored gun control.

Obviously, however many dems./lefties who have their heads in the sand

like a bunch of ostriches forget that SOMEtimes voted-in governments

morph into evil monsters, and even more often enough they were

Hitlers in sheep's clothing all along!
