I saw a absolutely beautiful new singlecab shortbox GMC pickup in black yesterday and thought of yours. Yours is shortbox right?

Could you post photos of it? I have always liked that look. It can both be modern and retro all at the same time.

I've never owned a swb sc pickup and have always wanted one. Maybe it's time.

Look at this iconic all American pickup. Such great proportions. Luv it.

B-but, where's the NAV, the bluetooth, the 16 cupholders, the backup camera, the forward camera, the turn signal mirrors, the adaptive speed control, the 20 way power heated leather seats, the DVD entertainment system with 17.1 surround sound, the dual-zone HVAC, etc., etc.? How do you expect me to drive that?

Seriously, though, that thing is pure awesomeness.

Ah, blu's truck is a real beauty. I have pictures of it from the small gathering last August at Camino's barn; enjoy!

Love the duals...I just realized you had them. The way you did the tailpipes is really tasteful - I hate the way most aftermarket truck exhaust systems exit right under the bumper.

Hey thanks for the Blu Truck photos...it's a dreamboat.

And by the way, I want to go to one of those barnburners sometime....it'd be so fun to meet some of you radicals.

Thanks z and Harley. z, those duals were installed by some Mennonites (one step away from Amish) with a local muffler shop. They have an excellent reputation locally. It's a single Flowmaster muffler (too difficult to fit two) with stainless pipes bent by the guys on the spot. The polished stainless tips are welded on. They did a really nice job. Edited by ocnblu

I can attest to the exhaust system being a great one... you should really hear it - the sound of that V8 purring while just sitting there is almost orgazmic.

Okay, I really need to get back into a truck ASAP. It's been two months now and I'm officially in truck withdrawl :(

What I like also, is they look stock, like they came from the factory. Often guys shoot them straight out the back, but it always looks a bit boy racerish. And sometimes they over compensate and have them way too far out. Maybe some size issues?

Seconded, next time you people swing by Calgary, make it known.
