Is this supposed to be a joke? That's a terrible chop...the greenhouse and body lines don't come close to lining up... Maybe if it were a better chop it would look "jaw-droppingly beautiful" but I see a lot of blurring and smudging on the image... no sale.

i appreciate the honesty but you could at least give me some constructive criticism a-hole.

I think it's a good piece of work. I think Buick engineers might make the roofline a little less sports-coupe. I'd like to see portholes, but other than that...its well done.

Woops, from your post title to the fact that it was a link to GMI I figured you found it and were linking to someone else's chop.

Here's the constructive version:

Where you stretched the door, the greenhouse doesn't line up. The dark identation at the top of the door sweeps upward and has no body line continuation toward the rear. The rear upper body line comes from nowhere. And again, the door and surrounding area feature so much blur and smudging and smoothing that it looks very unnatural and not part of the vehicle at all. Try to clean it up. And no, it isn't due to "reflection" because it is much busier here than anywhere else on the car.

The red ellipses indicate smudging, body lines that either don't line up or don't make sense, etc.

The rear is lower than the midsection, and it dips noticeably.

Can anyone post the image up here for those who aren't GMI members? I'd love to see :)

Sorry, Paulie... Tried but "dynamic pages in the [IMG] tags are not allowed". Whatever that means...

Anyways... the ideas are there and if executed better could definitely look 'jaw-droppingly beautiful'. Basically the problems lie where Croc pointed out. Fix those and my jaw will be ready and willing... :D

I like the looks of that... imagine, a car that actually looks good with the oval grille  If they made one of those, called it the LaCrosse coupe, it'd sell.

It's pretty cool IMO. Besides silly nitpicks which are really irrelevant I really like it. Looks a million times better than any Luscerne or Lacrosse I've seen. The front lower fascia needs at least a subtle tweek to eliminate the G35 coupe origins of the chop.
