I dropped my 93 TA off at the dealership yesterday for a possible blown head gasket, and while I was there I checked out the 2009 Stryker Blue they had in the show room. I was disappointed in the blue. If I get a G8, it will be a Liquid Red or a left over 2008 Ignition Orange what ever the name is. Now I have to convince the wife. By the way, this particular 2009 still has the "Atari" guages. So when will we get the three pod gauges as shown in the Motor Trend article?

Wow! I have been to Holden's website as well, and I have to say...

I Love Holden's Toxic Dump Colours!

Yesterday while attending a BPG dealership's annual car show I spotted numerous G8s on the lot, mostly in black and white, but there was one Stryker Blue, one Sport Red, and several Pacific Slate Blue G8s there too. I used to want mine in White, but I think if I go with the G8 next summer or fall, Pacific Slate Blue is my new color choice. Once I get my camera downloaded, I'll post the colors here.

I love black, but the orange looks good on it too, plus I like the names of the paints the give the G8...it's not boring. Ignition Orange as I recall...sweet name...better than say "bright orange" or something boring like that.

Reminds me of that early-90s blue GM used on a few cars...

The more I look at the G8 the more I want one.

This is a very starnge feeling.

A modern GM sedan that does not suck.,...at all!?

Well, they got the right ingredients..RWD, V8, IRS, manual transmission coming...what's not to love?

Yes indeed Moltar, and those night-time interior shots are exemplary.

The azure-blue & warm orange/reds work very well indeed.

Oh crap, I'm starting to sound like YOU guys...

I think there's a small hole in the back of my neck.

Here's several more pictures of a 2009 Stryker Blue G8 GT:

And after seeing the car above in the sunlight, I agree with sixty8 that it is very reminiscent of the '90s bright electric blue color. I recall drooling over my Pontiac dealership's '98 Grand Prix Daytona Pace Car replica in a shade of blue similar to the Stryker Blue:
