On September 15, 2008, Automotive News will publish a special edition on the 100th Anniversary of General Motors. The cost of this special issue will be $24.95 US, more if you want overnight shipping. If you want to reserve a copy here is the link. Hopefully you won't have to be a subscriber to order it.

Any chance they are going to verify any of the facts they present, esp regarding the more distant past, for $25... or will it be the usual 'good-enough' media effort?

Right! I have read it many a time and it's almost

"Consumer Reports bird-cage-liner worthy" IMO.

Hey there, we noticed you're using an ad-blocker. We're a small site that is supported by ads or subscriptions. We rely on these to pay for server costs and vehicle reviews.  Please consider whitelisting us in your ad-blocker, or if you really like what you see, you can pick up one of our subscriptions for just $1.75 a month or $15 a year. It may not seem like a lot, but it goes a long way to help support real, honest content, that isn't generated by an AI bot.

See you out there.
