Looks quite true to concept. The BRX will sell quite well if the exterior is 95% concept, as well. GM looks to still be on a roll turning out great vehicles.

Does anyone know what the functional differences between the BRX & the thetas ('nox/terrain) will be?

My understanding is that the BRX/9-4 will be a combo of epII & theta--but what does that really mean?--they look to have similar proportions and overall size.

Loving the integrated dual exhausts...The vehicle as a whole looks pretty good...except for one thing: that big front overhang.

I really like the creative gauge housing - notice how it appears to be created from one metal sculpture. The leather wrapping is a nice touch. I'll spare my typical plastiluminum criticism.

The IP seems like an afterthought though - perhaps GM did not have the budget to paint it silver or they felt it would be aluminum overkill...but the plain black is just that. Why not - on lighter colored interiors - color coordinate the IP/console controls to that of the dash? For that reason, the interior only looks good in black...for the grey theme in the Provoq concept reveals its cheapened, unfinished black IP and center console.

Hope the ambient lighting can make the jump to production. Personally, I feel that its a little gimmicky and trendy but I'm sure the critics - and target market - will like the blue ambiance found in the concept.

Shaping up to be a nice looking vehicle. As much as I think this should be for Buick and all Caddies should be RWD, it looks like GM is doing its best to make this an appropriate entry (minus the black IP of course).

if it gets gas engines i think the 2.0L turbo di and the 3.6L di would be great engines for it. the concept was was fuel cell right?

Impressed with some details of the interior, like the notch in the IP cluster where the speedometer is located. Impressive stuff. I have high hopes for the BRX.

the brx is going to be gorgeous. pity that the srx is on its way out. if only it got that kind of attention to details i bet there still would have been hope for that suv.

IIRC the Epsilon Saabs would get different suspensions, in geometry and/or by using aluminum. Maybe that's what GM did here, but it's just me guessing.

Wow on that interior. Chrysler used to be my abolute favourite company in the 1990's for the styling and general appearance of their products, but with GM's recent onslaught, plus upcoming products, I believe we may have a new "contender" (even though yes, I drive a VW).

Well, at least until Chrysler creates gorgeous and stunning again!

General Motors newest products and concepts such as that incredible Buick Invicta concept have shown me what American autocompanies are really capable of.

I just hope that GM ends up bringing out a new V8 for Cadillac on not just rely on corporate brother Chevrolet for its V8 needs. Sure, effiency is a concern, but without a V8 and all placed on deck to make Cadillac the complete star and beacon of hope for GM, then I fear that Cadillac won't be quite ready to take on the world in the manner that GM (and the rest of us) hope it will. I say this because, Does anyone think the premiere European luxury brands will ever abandon their V8's is appropriate models?
