Last night I had a deusey of a dream. It all came back to me in the shower this morning.

I was naked and walking, when I came upon a car dealership. It was made up of 3 lots, each with a small sales office. The cars were all non-descript, of different brands and model years, but it was a new car dealership (seemingly in decline). I entered one of the buildings. No one cared or acknowledged I was naked, and I was not embarrassed at all. It was dark, with a 1970's, dark brown pleather and chrome decor. I looked at racks of brochures, and left. Groups of cars were parked in patterns randomly on the lots, I was just browsing, when I came upon something that piqued my interest intensely... it was a group of about 4 G8 Sport Trucks, under a couple of those portable car-port tent things. They were painted in the bright Aussie colors, and they were all up on blocks, with no wheels. I am not sure if they were incompletely manufactured, or if they were delivered that way to the dealer, awaiting final assembly so they could be sold. There was a salesguy with me, and I was asking him questions about them. I remember looking at the rear differential/axle assembly of one of them, which was painted bright red with traction bars, and silver smaller parts attached. I remember saying to him, pointing "Wow, look at that rear!"

Hmmm..strange. You know, speaking of dreams (daydreams, maybe) I'd love to be able to buy a new G8 in the US with RHD and in Holden HSV W427 trim and badging.

I wish I could dream as normally as you, ocn, but alas, my mind waits like Freddie Kruger for darkness to fall so it can torture me.

Wait: who said 'wow look at that rear' about what?

I think it means you have major issues! :smilewide:

I had a dream last night too, here is how mine went:

Well I was wandering along by the banks of the river

When seven fat cars came up out of the Delaware, uh-huh

And right behind these fine healthy vehicles came

Seven other cars, that were skinny and vile, uh-huh

Well the thin cars ate the fat cars which I

Thought would do them good, uh-huh

But it didn’t make them fatter like such

A monster supper should

Well the thin cars were as thin

As they had ever, ever, ever been

Well this dream has got me baffled

Won’t you tell me what the Hell does it mean?

Ha, balthy, the "rear!" comment was aimed at the bright red painted rear differential under one of the G8 STs, it wasn't an anatomical comment. :AH-HA_wink:

That was some dream, Ocn.

I rarely remember mine.

But, just recently, I had a dream that I went to Canada without proper documents. I got in just fine, but the border folks wouldn't let me back in when I tried to go home!

The skinny cars represent Opels. They will try to devour all of the big traditional cars (the fat ones), but they will wither away and die because no one will give their money to them.

Ha, you actually made me laugh out loud! :AH-HA_wink:
