So finally my girlfriend was able to find the school bus that witnessed the accident a few weeks ago. She was able to get the info of it down (the plate, bus number and the company it belonged to). This was yesterday, so by the time I got home the Lawrence School District office was closed, and today I wasn't able to call. I plan to tomorrow, but I'm not sure how to ask or if they are the right people to call. The bus is from North Reading Transportation, which several towns away from us, but makes stops in this area, which leads me to assume that it has a Lawrence bus route for one of the Lawrence Schools...but it didn't say which. When I called North Reading Transportation, they said they didn't handle the school buses, and weren't really sure how I could find the bus (the woman wasn't very helpful/bright).

Tomorrow I'm gonna try to call the District and find something out. If that fails has anyone got a clue as how to get a hold of the driver? We really want a witness statement, because as of now the insurance companies are thinking the blame is 50/50, which is utter bull$h!...the stupid bitch that hit us is still trying to say we were "pulled over"

Any help would be great.

Call the transportation office of the school district and give them the bus information. Let them know what you are requesting.

The people who work at the transportation office should be able to put you in contact with the driver.

Let them know you are only asking for a witness statement and would really appreciate the help.

They may not be able to release the driver's name under these conditions but should pass on your information to the driver under any circumstances.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot tomorrow (today).
