Cadillac: one of the coolest brands in all of automotive history... certainly my favorite luxury brand hands down. Sure I love BMW and have the utmost respect for Deusenbergs, Bugattis, Packards, Auburns and Pierce Arrows... I even like certain M.B.s and Lincolns but in the end Cadillac is my favorite by a far.

So I thought I'd share some of my favorites through the years:

Both "1953" and "1953 Eldorado ragtop" are '54s, not that that matters; differences are minimal and all here are beautiful. My favorite post-war that you posted has to be the '58 Series 60 Special (with Sabre Spoke wheels- yummy). Those are stunning in person.

One point of my life I will own a last gen Eldorado... I really wish they had given it a sight facelift inlines of the last gen Seville but I think it still looks good as it was.

To think of it, when I was shopping for the Regal...I ran across one that at first looked great... $8k, 1996 with all the new goodies of the last revision of the car, all black, tinted windows, 50k miles... I thought I had hit a dream car...until I realized two things, I didn't fit great (I would have lived with it for a fully loaded ETC)...and the AC was literally non-existant (in addition to a few of the toys not working like the sunroof). In the end the car didn't even make it on my list, but it was a great idea at least.
