..and now I'm driving 5.5 hrs (in normal conditions) to Indiana for the Delta Tau Delta Northern Divison Conference. Wooooo!

Yes sir!

Oh, since it's "baby snow," do you want to come over and help shovel the driveway real quick? I'll let you use the shovel, I'll take the snowblower. :P Kidding, of course!

We've gotten a little bit of that here. Thankfully, (at least in my mind) most of it has been up in the mountains.

They've been getting pounded up there in the Cascades lately.

Yeah, its baby snow. My snowblower would eat that up in about fifteen - twenty minutes. :P Get out there and shovel son.

Btw, might wanna call and see if your event is still gonna happen. I think IN is getting some big snow.

400 lbs of Quickrete and random heavy tools in the back of the Trans Am, and no problems getting to work today. Going home might be another story though.

Uh oh, time to get out that snowblower thing that $h!s bricks.

40 and sunny today in the Mile High City..going to be pretty decent here this weekend...only 3 more months to go until snow season's over...

I wouldn't really call it much of a storm besides the half inch of ice that covered the Cutlass. I have found that de-icer and my ice scraper are wholly ineffective. I did end up breaking a little hole so I could see. Otherwise, mostly sleet and slush.

NOS, I noticed the neighbor across the street warming up their Firebird/TransAm to head out, so it can't be that bad out. Surely you can brave it in your Cobalt. :P

We got lots of rain, but that's it. PG County decided to call a 2-hour delay, too, which meant I got to sleep in until 9 this morning ^_^.

Forecast last night was for a TOTAL of 3-6 inches ... well, for Elgin, they missed by about 4 inches ... 10.2 was the total.

I managed to get to work today, though. By drive time home, roads were clear...due, in part, to the rising temps.

Awesome pics, frogger!

I love that third one :).

We have MORE snow on the ground ... another few inches ... with ice tomorrow morning perhaps (if so, should be fun getting to the hospital tomorrow morning ... arg :(...) and rain tomorrow afternoon....

Thanks!

I got my first DSLR in December, a $450 Pentax, and have gone out a few times with it trying to compose some nice photos. Its a relaxing hobby that could turn expensive.

Things are going to get really soggy here too this week so I wanted to go out on the weekend before the snow was gone again.
